Position Overview

Morgan Hunt is collaborating with a prominent UK government agency to secure a contract Business Analyst.

Role Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in Business Analysis throughout the Software Development Lifecycle. You will guide products through various phases, including discovery, alpha, and beta, into operational status, with a strong emphasis on user-focused design, iterative development, and ongoing enhancement to deliver exceptional digital services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Analysis Expertise:
    Demonstrated history of diagnosing issues and evaluating alternatives for both new and existing digital services. Your skills include collecting and interpreting data to create actionable insights for service improvements.
  • User-Centric Approach:
    A profound comprehension of user requirements and preferences, developed through collaboration with user researchers. You advocate for user research, ensuring that all decisions prioritize user experience.
  • Complex Business Modelling:
    Experience in modeling intricate scenarios across diverse business functions or programs, equipping you to tackle sophisticated challenges effectively.
  • Process Improvement:
    Proficient in assessing current services and workflows, pinpointing areas for enhancement, and executing strategies to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    Skilled in influencing high-level stakeholders and managing relationships to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Agile Methodologies:
    Well-acquainted with Agile practices, capable of identifying and implementing the most suitable processes or delivery methods. You consistently assess and analyze results to ensure ongoing improvement.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience with GDS
  • Background in government projects
  • Proven project delivery experience
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with Salesforce

Compensation and Terms:

  • Daily rate: £600 - £650
  • Contract duration: 3 months with a strong likelihood of extension
  • Inside IR35 regulations
  • On-site presence required once a week
