We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Pets at Home Group Plc. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our store, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of retail professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take full responsibility for the store in the absence of the Deputy or Store Manager
  • Lead a team of retail professionals to achieve sales and performance targets
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team
  • Manage stock control, store standards, and customer service
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives
Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months hands-on supervisory/management experience in the retail sector
  • Flexible to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
  • Passionate about retail and delivering high standards
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
