Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical and Electrical Engineer to join our team at Spider Web Recruitment Ltd. As a Mechanical and Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, overhauling, and repairing water treatment and distribution systems, industrial waste treatment equipment, and collection systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead teams in performing preventative and corrective maintenance tasks
- Ensure all operations adhere to established safety practices and procedures
- Examine and troubleshoot industrial plant machinery to identify and rectify performance shortfalls
- Supervise preventive maintenance services and ensure adherence to safety regulations
- Diagnose, plan, and complete projects involving major water and wastewater systems
Requirements:
- BTEC Level 3/City and Guilds/NVQ in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Proficient in planning and leading teams for corrective and preventive maintenance tasks
- Ability to independently diagnose, plan, and complete projects involving major water and wastewater systems
- Knowledge of mechanical, electric, and electronic procedures, as well as hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, sketches, and work orders
- Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain water and wastewater treatment plant equipment
- Ability to handle and safeguard sensitive information and maintain the appropriate security clearance
- Category B driver's licence
- Flexibility to work overtime and travel internationally as required
