Aircraft Maintenance Manager

STS Aviation Services is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Check Manager to join our team in Manchester, UK. As a key member of our base maintenance operations, you will be responsible for the overall management and delivery of maintenance inputs, ensuring regulatory compliance and excellence in our services.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver allocated maintenance inputs to schedule, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
- Manage and allocate tasks to team members, maintaining a log of progress and providing daily production briefings.
- Ensure technical integrity of all work carried out under your control, adhering to Part 145 Aviation Legislation and company procedures.
- Line manage staff, providing coaching and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.
- Collaborate with the Base Maintenance Management team to achieve operational goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement solutions to deliver maintenance to target within budget constraints.
- Ensure a daily progress report is issued for the aircraft under maintenance, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Category B licensed engineers must hold C certification by aircraft type.
- A330/A320 type ratings are mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years Base Maintenance experience as a B1 and/or B2 certifying engineer.
- Right to work in the UK is essential.
- Good working knowledge of Part 145 Aviation Legislation.
- Flexible approach to working in a fast-changing environment.
- Excellent communication, management, and interpersonal skills.
