We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Warehouse Assistant at Recruitment Solutions (West Midlands) Ltd.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the driver in loading and unloading goods from the vehicle, ensuring all items are properly secured and protected during transportation.
- Help navigate and plan the most efficient routes for deliveries, utilizing knowledge of the area to minimize travel time.
- Provide excellent customer service by being polite and professional with customers, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely manner.
- Assist in completing paperwork and documentation related to deliveries, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks, such as checking oil and tire pressure, to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
Requirements:
- No previous experience required, as comprehensive training will be provided.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions, demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues, both verbally and in writing.
- Physical fitness to handle heavy lifting and moving of goods, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driver's license is a plus, but not required for this position.
Working Hours: Tuesday - Saturday, 5am - 2pm.
