We are collaborating with a leading construction firm specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) services, tasked with overseeing a significant infrastructure development.

We seek a Senior M&E Project Manager to spearhead this initiative following the successful award of the contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the creation of interlinked schedules for preconstruction, construction, and commissioning phases.
  • Oversee the development of Project Planning and Control (PPC) documents and Road Maps.
  • Contribute to the weekly dependency schedule to ensure alignment with project timelines.
  • Facilitate and document the weekly look-ahead plan for resource allocation and progress tracking.
  • Lead the weekly program coordination meetings, demonstrating a thorough understanding of project dependencies and potential challenges.
  • Manage and sequence supply chain and internal resources according to project needs.
  • Coordinate detailed engineering reviews during preconstruction to ensure design consistency across all documentation.
  • Manage design review processes and the resolution of outstanding issues related to project packages.
  • Implement value engineering strategies to optimize project outcomes.
  • Oversee the management of design for subcontract packages, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Lead the development of project preliminaries and resource requirements.
  • Formulate the project procurement strategy.
  • Coordinate the review and production of subcontractor tender documents, including scopes of work and pricing schedules.
  • Manage the procurement of subcontractor packages in alignment with organizational and project objectives.
  • Oversee project financials through profit and loss reporting, participating in project and financial review meetings.
  • Manage the risk register for subcontractor packages.
  • Supervise the production of weekly dependency schedules for subcontractors to ensure project progress.
  • Facilitate monthly progress meetings with subcontractors.
  • Monitor and challenge the weekly look-ahead plan for resource allocation and progress tracking.
  • Authorize detailed site instructions, including descriptions and sketches, for the commercial team.
About You


You possess a degree in engineering and are a member of a recognized professional organization, such as CIBSE or the IET. Additional qualifications in building services at the HND level may also be considered.
