Maintenance Electrician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at a leading Facilities Management company. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing site-based electrical maintenance repairs and ensuring the delivery of contractual services in accordance with the contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide site-based electrical maintenance repairs as directed by the Site Facilities Manager.
  • Work independently and manage own time, escalating and seeking advice when necessary.
  • Undertake tasks of a basic mechanical, plumbing, and handyman nature as required.
  • Ensure contractual services are delivered in accordance with agreed SLA's and quality targets.
  • Produce accurate documentation and maintain up-to-date records of statutory inspections.
  • Attend training courses as required for business purposes.
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified and experienced Electrician.
  • 18th Edition certification.
  • Knowledge of M&E standards.
  • Water Hygiene L8 awareness (desirable).
  • Experience of building and facilities maintenance.

This is a temporary to permanent contract opportunity based on a commercial retail site in Wakefield. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm, with 40 hours per week. If you are a skilled Electrician looking for a new challenge, please apply for this exciting opportunity.
