About the Role

Trostan Dene is seeking a seasoned Purchasing Manager to spearhead the efficient flow of parts from suppliers to customers, driving supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness while ensuring alignment with the company's commitment to ESG principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Purchasing function, analyzing costs, lead times, and service levels to optimize supply chain performance.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies and process improvements to drive business growth.
  • Negotiate and manage relationships with new and existing suppliers, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including R&D, Product Design, QA, and Sales, to drive supply chain excellence.
  • Develop and implement supply chain contingency plans and risk management programs to mitigate potential disruptions.
Requirements

We are looking for a commercially aware, customer-focused leader with a strong track record in Purchasing and Supply Chain management. The ideal candidate will possess a good knowledge of supply chain processes and be able to operate on a strategic basis, leading a team towards departmental goals.
