About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Compliance Specialist to join our team at Royal London Group. As a key member of our Asset Management Marketing team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our financial promotions and marketing materials comply with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and approve financial promotions and documents for our Asset Management business, both in the UK and internationally.
- Provide marketing compliance support and guidance to our Proposition & Strategy and RLAM Marketing teams.
- Be the primary point of contact for compliance queries and investment management queries.
- Offer compliance advice for marketing projects related to financial promotions.
- Conduct control testing of the financial promotions review and approval process.
- Deliver training to our Marketing Compliance team and members of the RLAM Marketing team to enhance their knowledge.
- Monitor regulatory developments at the FCA and provide compliance insights.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in a Marketing Compliance role within an Asset Management firm.
- Knowledge of the FCA financial promotions rules and wider regulatory environment and framework.
- Experience in international regulatory frameworks would be advantageous.
- Excellent knowledge of investment matters in UCITS and AIFMD.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders in the business.
- Experience in distilling complex information into a clear and easily understandable format.
- IMC qualified would be advantageous but not essential.
- Working knowledge of IMA rules.
- Languages would be beneficial but not essential.
