Accounts Assistant

Pertemps Basingstoke is currently in search of a skilled Accounts Assistant to become part of a reputable manufacturing organization. This role offers a permanent part-time opportunity, comprising 30 hours each week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing both purchase and sales ledger functions
  • Issuing invoices to customers
  • Engaging with clients to facilitate prompt payments
  • Interacting with suppliers, processing their invoices, and overseeing payment schedules
  • Conducting reconciliations for accounts and bank statements
  • Administering payroll for staff members
  • Collaborating with external accounting professionals
  • Carrying out various other accounting tasks as needed
Essential Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in an accounting or finance position
  • Understanding of payroll processes
  • Competence in utilizing Sage accounting software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Access to personal transportation due to the location
  • Availability to start immediately is advantageous
Position Overview:
  • Part-time schedule, Monday through Friday, totaling 30 hours per week
  • Compensation of £22,000 based on a 30-hour work week
