About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Education Recruitment Specialist to join our team at Reed. As a Recruitment Consultant - Education Sector, you will play a key role in connecting education professionals with fulfilling roles within schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Candidate Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with education professionals to match them with suitable roles, providing personalized support to ensure alignment between their career aspirations and available opportunities.
  • Client Management: Work closely with schools and head teachers to provide consultative staffing solutions, developing and maintaining expertise in the field of educational recruitment.
  • Sales and Negotiation: Engage in sales activities, including making outbound calls and attending client meetings, negotiating pay rates and fostering positive, long-term relationships with candidates.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor job placements to ensure satisfaction and meet financial targets, driving business growth and expansion.
Requirements
  • Proven Sales Ability: A minimum of 1 year of recruitment experience, preferably in temporary recruitment, with a proven track record of sales success.
  • Education and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (2:1 or above) and a strong understanding of the UK education system.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and candidates.
  • Professional Appearance and Demeanour: A professional appearance and demeanour, with a strong ambition for a long-term career in recruitment.
  • Self-Motivation and Time Management: Self-motivated, deadline-oriented, and empathetic, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
