We are seeking a skilled Broker to enhance our operations within the CPP West Africa sector. This role will involve engaging in negotiations for spot cargoes, managing contract allocations, and optimizing financial outcomes for vessels. The successful candidate will possess substantial experience in the CPP West Africa markets.
Key Responsibilities
• Generate revenue and expand the client portfolio.
• Promote tonnage to various stakeholders including customers, shippers, and charterers.
• Negotiate charter agreements to ensure maximum profitability.
• Oversee cargo distribution and coordinate trans-shipment activities.
• Maintain comprehensive records and documentation for voyages.
• Discover new business avenues and onboard fresh clients into the market.
Qualifications
• Proven success in brokerage roles.
• 3-5 years of experience in CPP brokerage specifically within the West Africa market.
• Exceptional commercial acumen and negotiation capabilities.
• Strong emphasis on precision and detail-oriented work.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
