We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trainee Teaching Assistant. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about education and eager to embark on a rewarding career journey in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Responsibilities- Support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a variety of educational settings, including Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) schools, Alternative Provisions, and Pupil Referral Units (PRUs).
- Work in a supportive learning environment, providing tailored support and resources to ensure inclusive education for all.
- Gain hands-on experience through 5 days of paid work experience within a SEND or Alternative Provision setting.
- Undergo comprehensive online courses covering essential topics such as working in schools, supporting students with SEND, and safeguarding within educational settings.
- A DBS Check, or readiness to undergo a DBS check.
- GCSE Mathematics and English at a grade C or above.
- A passion for working with students who have additional needs.
- Prior experience in non-educational settings is desired.
