About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Science Teacher to join our team at Willow Park School. As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to our students with complex needs, including SEMH and Autism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging and inclusive Science lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback and assessments to inform instruction.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver a broad and balanced Science curriculum that meets the needs of our students.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in Science education, incorporating new resources and teaching methods into your practice.
  • Contribute to the development of Individual Learning Plans for students, ensuring their needs are met and progress is tracked.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance your practice and contribute to the school's improvement.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Degree-level qualification in Science or a related field
