Construction Site Supervisor – Residential Development

Location: West Cornwall

Employment Type: Permanent

Sphere Solutions is collaborating with a reputable residential developer to seek a skilled Construction Site Supervisor to oversee a significant project in the region.

This position offers a unique chance to lead a long-term, multi-phase residential development, where you can drive quality and aim for recognition in the industry.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site, including adherence to NHBC standards and building codes.
  • Manage and coordinate labor and subcontractor activities effectively.
  • Conduct and participate in site inspections for quality assurance.
  • Work closely with the Contracts Manager to ensure the construction team is adequately staffed and directed.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in residential construction management.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with a focus on delivering projects to the highest standards.
  • Comprehensive understanding of both traditional and contemporary building techniques.
  • Relevant certifications such as SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid at Work; candidates with both trade and academic backgrounds will be considered, provided they can demonstrate extensive experience in volume residential construction.
  • Familiarity with the local supply chain is essential.
