We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Tenancy Support Specialist to join our team at Brook Street Social Care. As a Tenancy Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals who are at risk of homelessness, providing them with the necessary tools and resources to maintain their tenancy and achieve independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide practical and emotional support to individuals in need, promoting their independence and recovery.
  • Respond to chaotic and challenging behavior, prioritizing the wellbeing of individuals and staff.
  • Liaise with referral teams and agencies to ensure effective support services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with service users, building trust and confidence.
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews to identify areas for improvement and develop personalized support plans.

Requirements:

  • Passion for supporting vulnerable adults and a strong desire to make a positive impact.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • DBS on the update service.
  • Professional or personal experience working with young people or adults with learning disabilities or mental health.
  • Transferable skills that enable you to support vulnerable adults at risk of homelessness.
