Michael Page Legal is seeking a highly skilled Japanese Document Review Lawyer to join our team in London.

About the Role

We are looking for a lawyer with expertise in document review, particularly in Japanese language documents. The ideal candidate will have experience working with eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity and proficiency in both Japanese and English languages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze Japanese and English documents
  • Provide efficient translation of documents from Japanese to English and vice versa
  • Deal with privileged documentation
  • Perform QC checking and first and second-level review
  • Communicate effectively with the team and clients in both Japanese and English
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all legal documents and client information
Requirements
  • Admitted as a lawyer/solicitor
  • Proficiency in Japanese and English language, both written and spoken
  • Experience working in a similar role within a law firm
