Job Overview
Concept Resources is seeking dedicated Community Maintenance Operatives to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of our neighborhoods. This role is a full-time temporary position offering competitive pay.

Role Objectives:

The primary goal is to uphold a clean and orderly community through effective management of grounds maintenance, open space care, and waste collection services. The position aims to safeguard, enhance, and promote accessibility to both rural and urban green areas. Continuous improvement of frontline services through efficient performance and customer engagement is essential. Collaboration with other staff members, public agencies, and the community is vital. The operative will also report any environmental hazards or areas needing attention to their supervisor.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Address open space maintenance tasks, including litter removal, graffiti treatment, bulk waste collections, and dog fouling management. Perform grounds upkeep such as grass cutting and maintenance of parks and beaches.

2. Operate hand-held mechanical cleaning equipment, refuse collection systems, and small machinery for landscaping tasks.

3. Empty various types of bins, including those designated for dog waste.

4. Respond to emergency situations, including the collection of discarded needles and the cleaning of waterways.

5. Assist in the cleaning and securing of public facilities and parks as needed.

6. Clear neglected land and manually tidy allotments, including the removal of dilapidated structures.

7. Perform winter maintenance tasks using both manual and mechanical methods.

8. Operate vehicles such as vans and pick-up trucks, including towing trailers and using specialized equipment like tractors and sweepers.
