Job Summary:

ARM is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Audit Assistant Manager to join our team in Portsmouth. As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the execution of regulatory and statutory audits, providing a premium audit support service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the execution of regulatory and statutory audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assignments.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Prepare accounts and corporate tax computations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Support the Manager and Associate in providing audit support services to clients.
  • Proactively maintain current client relationships and seek opportunities to establish new relationships.
  • Communicate effectively with Managers to ensure timely delivery of assignments.
  • Review and provide feedback on accounts preparation and corporate tax computations.
  • Contribute to the training and development of less experienced team members on audits and compliance.
  • Attend training courses and maintain professional competence to meet CPE requirements.

Requirements:

  • Must be ACCA or ACA qualified.
  • Have relevant practical experience in audit and accounts.
  • Audit and accounts experience gained from an accountancy practice.
  • Knowledge of various software packages.
  • Strong communication and team working skills.
  • Confident in delegating and reviewing accounts work.
  • Experience in direct contact with clients.
