Nurse - Palliative Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiff & the Vale Hospice IPU Team in Penarth. As a Marie Curie Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care and participate in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the care needs for patients in a palliative care setting.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medication and treatment as prescribed in accordance with the NMC's and the Charity's policies and guidelines.
- Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support for patients and carers.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale (aligned with AFC) Band 5 £28,834 - £35,099 per annum.
- Annual leave allowance 27 days plus 8 public holidays (pro rata).
- Industry-leading training programs.

- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of palliative care and the needs of patients with complex symptoms as well as at end of life.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Welsh speaking is desirable but not essential.
