Catering Assistant

Anchor is seeking a skilled Catering Assistant to join our team at Dawson Lodge in Southampton. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality catering service to our residents, ensuring their dietary needs are met and their experience is exceptional.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and serve meals to residents, adhering to health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety procedures.
- Minimize food waste and optimize food preparation to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Collaborate with the Chef Manager to ensure seamless meal service and address any concerns or issues.
- Level 2 food safety certificate.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures, including COSHH.
- Previous catering experience, with a focus on basic food safety and safe use of kitchen equipment.
- Experience working with older adults, with a focus on providing exceptional care and support.
