Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Contract Site Project Engineer to join our client's team in the Derby area. As a key member of the site engineering team, you will be responsible for managing capital and revenue projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and to budget.
Key Responsibilities- Project Planning: Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Supplier Management: Select and manage suppliers to ensure high-quality materials and services.
- Financial Control: Monitor and control project finances, ensuring adherence to budget and cost specifications.
- Customer Acceptance: Ensure customer acceptance of project deliverables, meeting their requirements and expectations.
You will own factory equipment, including a new manufacturing line, and be responsible for HARD FM site services and related works. Reporting directly to the Project Engineering Manager, you will have autonomy to deliver pragmatic, value-engineered projects to cost and time specifications.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong project management skills, with experience in managing capital and revenue projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
- Strong financial management skills, with experience in controlling project finances.
- Ability to work independently, with autonomy to deliver projects to cost and time specifications.
