Audit Senior Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Senior to join our team in Doncaster. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, leading audits from planning to completion, and overseeing junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support a diverse portfolio of clients with largest turnover up to c.£100m.
  • Assist with audit elements, gaining exposure from planning to completion.
  • Further develop a solid understanding of current audit and general accounting regulations.
  • Work closely with the Audit Manager to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met.
  • Build strong rapport with clients, proactively handling queries and problem solving.
  • Champion your own professional development, undertaking training opportunities.

Our client is a well-established firm with an excellent reputation for providing a full-suite of accounting support to a varied portfolio across the North.

Part of a multi-office practice, the Doncaster team is made up of experienced accountants, tax specialists, and seasoned auditors, and is looking for a driven candidate to support its ambitious growth plans.

Requirements:
  • ACA/ACCA qualified, part-qualified or studying with a previous audit experience within practice.
  • Adept at supporting audits, working closely with senior auditors to deliver service excellence.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbally.
  • Strong time management and a positive, can-do attitude when working under pressure.
  • A team player who is eager to support the wider team.
