Job Summary:

The Best Connection Group Limited is seeking a reliable and skilled LGV Category C1 (7.5t) Driver to join our team. As a driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations, working closely with a driver's mate, and ensuring timely and safe transportation of cargo.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver goods to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Work closely with a driver's mate to ensure safe and secure transportation of cargo
  • Operate a 7.5t Category C1 vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
  • Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
  • Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management to ensure smooth operations

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly pay rates: £13.00 p/h PAYE for days and £16.00 p/h PAYE for overtime
  • Guaranteed minimum of 8 hours pay per shift
  • Weekly pay
  • 28 days paid annual leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)

  • Choice of long-term, short-term, and odd days or weekends available
  • Flexible shift patterns

Requirements:

  • Valid LGV Category C1 license
  • Good knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
