Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Associate Director to lead our Safety Systems and Pharmacovigilance team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for establishing and executing a comprehensive project management framework to drive business growth and innovation in the field of pharmacovigilance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a long-term strategic plan for pharmacovigilance, aligning with our company's objectives and industry trends.
  • Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects, ensuring timely and successful execution, and adherence to budget and scope.
  • Business Case Development: Develop and facilitate decision support for project proposals, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and compliance in pharmacovigilance.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture, promoting shared accountability and goal-oriented behavior.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant industry regulations, including GVP and GCP, and maintain a strong understanding of emerging trends and technologies.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering, IS/Computer Science, or Data Analytics Degree (BSc/MSc/Diploma), Quality or Operations Management, Management Information Systems, or Business Analytics or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7-10 years in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, including biomedical research organizations, with a minimum of 7 years of IT Project Management experience.
  • Certifications: Certified Project Manager, PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications a plus.
  • Skills: Proven track record as a project manager leading cross-functional teams in a global, matrixed environment, handling complex technical and regulatory challenges.
