About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Trust Housing Association Limited. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, home-cooked meals to our tenants with varying dietary needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals for our tenants, ensuring a high standard of quality and presentation.
- Work closely with our menu planner to ensure that meals are tailored to individual needs and preferences.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to our tenants, ensuring that they receive a warm and welcoming dining experience.
- Collaborate with our team to ensure that meals are served efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in cooking and serving quality food, preferably in a similar role.
- Relevant food-related qualification, such as the REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances.
What We Offer:
- A competitive hourly rate of £12.25-£12.50 per hour.
- 24 contracted hours per week worked over 3.5 days on a rolling 2-week rota.
