Assembly Operative Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Assembly Operative to join our team at Obscurant Recruitment Solutions Ltd. As an Assembly Operative, you will be responsible for assembling products in line with technical drawings and/or story boards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assembly of products in accordance with pre-defined procedures and quality control standards.
  • Coil winding for all product types and finishing of products ready for inspection and/or packing including labelling, cleaning etc.
  • Testing in accordance with procedures and quality control standards.
  • Paint Spraying all product types in accordance with procedures and customer specifications.
  • Adherence to SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Undertaking soldering when required.
  • Recording accurate data using spread sheets and official documents when required.
  • Ensuring workplace area is clean and tidy at commencement and end of shift.
Requirements:
  • Experience of using a variety of coating media applied to specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and spoken.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Able to understand and follow work instructions for example procedures, story boards etc.
  • A proficient level of manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination.
  • A high level of attention to detail with a flexible approach and a good team player.
  • Computer literate.
