About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join our Electronic Trading team as a Senior Java Developer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance trading applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with engineers, quants, and traders to deliver high-quality trading applications
  • Implement and deliver new business functions and non-functional platform improvements
  • Develop functional and non-functional requirements in close collaboration with other engineers, quants, and traders
  • Participate fully in code reviews as both an author and a reviewer
  • Actively improve team software development processes
Requirements
  • Excellent core Java skills and experience with modern software development practices
  • Strong understanding of trading systems, preferably in an algo trading context
  • Good understanding of cash and derivative products across Rates and Foreign exchange (FX)
  • Experience of modern patterns for continuous delivery of software
  • Sound grounding in the principles of computer engineering, preferably with a technical degree
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across multiple teams and functions
