In House Contracts Lawyer

We are seeking an experienced in-house commercial contracts lawyer to support our firmwide procurement service. Based in a hybrid working model, the role offers a flexible and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with our Procurement team, the Office of the General Counsel, Information Security team, business stakeholders, and senior management to review, draft, and negotiate a wide array of commercial supplier agreements.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, perform due diligence, manage risks, and advise on the commercial and legal aspects of contracts.
- Engage in local and international contracts, risk management, and contribute to the team's strategic development.
- Update supplier agreements in line with changing requirements, train the Procurement team on new legislation, manage contract templates, and enhance service delivery through innovation and compliance.
Requirements
- At least one year of post-qualification experience in commercial contracts within a procurement setting.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to communicate complex contractual terms effectively.
- Experience with data protection, IT contracts, and intellectual property issues in procurement contracts is desirable.
