Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Manager to lead our Financial Reporting function within the Financial Reporting and Accounting team at Reed. This pivotal role involves managing a team of 7, producing Group financial statements, engaging with stakeholders, Audit Committee members, and the external auditor, as well as overseeing project management and month-end reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and mentor a team responsible for statutory and month-end financial reporting, ensuring the production of accurate Group financial statements.
  2. Liaise effectively with stakeholders, Audit Committee members, and external auditors to drive continuous process improvement and enhance the quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of reporting.
  3. Drive business growth by identifying and implementing process improvements, leveraging industry best practices, and fostering a culture of excellence within the team.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and goals.
Requirements
  1. ACA/ACCA qualification with a strong background in group reporting under IFRS.
  2. Proven track record as a Financial Reporting Lead with team coaching and mentoring experience.
  3. Experience within Financial Services is desirable but not essential.
