Project Architect Job Opportunity

Bennett and Game Recruitment are working with a multi-disciplinary practice specialising in Architectural design, project management and surveying services based in Warrington. As a result of expanding, they are hiring a Project Architect to join their team.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on Commercial and Heritage projects across all RIBA stages. They will be responsible for leading and managing projects from inception through to completion, attending client and design team meetings, and compiling and producing drawing packages and layouts using AutoCAD and REVIT software.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage projects from inception to completion
  2. Attend client and design team meetings, including site visits and chairing site meetings as required
  3. Compile and produce drawing packages and layouts using AutoCAD and REVIT software
  4. Manage and undertake measured surveys, formulate designs and specifications, administer projects and programmes
  5. Ensure design proposals conform to the latest planning policies, building regulations and technical standards
  6. Liaise with external consultants and suppliers, review information provided and coordinate design stage and construction issue drawings and specification packages
  7. Take the lead and be responsible for ensuring deadlines are achieved and managed for delivery of feasibility, tender and construction drawing packages
Requirements
  1. Good knowledge of either Revit or AutoCAD
  2. Technical detailing knowledge
  3. Full UK driving license
  4. Strong experience with planning regulations
  5. Effective team working and communication skills
  6. Live within a commutable distance of Warrington
  7. Commercial or Heritage experience is advantageous
  8. Experience across all RIBA stages
  9. Registered ARB Architect
