We are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer with a strong background in ground investigation, report writing and business development to join our team as a Geotechnical Project Manager.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a role with key responsibilities, the opportunity for progression and a variety of company benefits.
The company is a long established Geotechnical Consultancy with over 35 years in the industry operating on a range of projects from new developments to subsidence investigations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing geotechnical projects from inception to completion; managing budgets, travelling to sites, reviewing and writing technical reports and playing a huge role in the overall business development.
The Role:- Managing geotechnical projects from inception to completion
- Writing and preparation of reports
- Preparing and managing financial budgets for different projects
- Site visits to supervise projects
- Offering practical foundation advice, contaminated land assessments and sustainable drainage solutions
- Working on soil parameters for Infrastructure design along with economic and providing environmentally sustainable remediation solutions
- Experience in a ground investigation environment working in a similar role
- Degree level qualification in Geotechnical/Civil Engineering
- Knowledge of GEO5 Design Software and geophysical surveys
