As we prepare to open our new Options Autism School, we are looking for a dedicated Site Operations Supervisor to enhance the lives of our students.

The new school will accommodate 60 students and is designed to support individuals aged 11 to 19 with Autism Spectrum Conditions and Complex Needs.

  • Competitive salary of up to £35,000 per annum, based on experience
  • 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday
  • Permanent position, 52 weeks a year
  • Note: This role does not provide sponsorship

Role Overview

The Site Operations Supervisor will oversee the maintenance and management of the school facilities, ensuring they are clean, secure, safe, and well-maintained at all times. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the upkeep of the premises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the locking and unlocking of school buildings as needed.
  • Set up facilities for various activities, including arranging furniture and outdoor spaces.
  • Address pre-planned maintenance tasks and respond promptly to any arising issues.
  • Conduct repairs on fixtures and fittings as necessary.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained to the highest standards.
  • Oversee grounds maintenance to keep the outdoor areas in excellent condition.
  • Assist in organizing school refurbishments and improvements.
  • Facilitate porterage and logistics around the school site.
  • Monitor the premises for hazards, carrying out repairs or reporting issues as required.
  • Ensure compliance with the school's Health & Safety Policies and Procedures.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Full UK driver's license.
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Additional relevant qualifications related to the role.
