Yard Operative

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Yard Operative to join our team at Jewson. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our yard and stockroom areas.

• Welcome customers to the branch and provide exceptional customer service
• Assist with the preparation of customer orders, loading and unloading vehicles using a forklift truck
• Check incoming deliveries and report any missing or damaged products
• Maintain stock levels in the yard and stockroom areas
• Ensure the branch is kept clean and tidy, making a great first impression on our customers
• Prioritize health and safety in the workplace

• Previous industry experience preferred but not essential
• Counter Balance Forklift license required
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
