About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior/Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer to join our team at Evan Craig, a leading remediation contractor in the North of England. As a technical lead, you will be responsible for the operational and technical delivery of site and office-based work, encompassing contaminated land assessment, earthworks, and ground engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Investigation, Sampling, and Testing
  • Report Writing and Peer Review
  • Subcontractor Selection and Management
  • Delivery of Projects Safely and Within Budget

Requirements:

  • A Relevant Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or Geology
  • 7-12 Years' Background within the Geotechnical, Remediation, and/or Geo-Environmental Consultancy Industries
  • First-Class Analytical and Technical Writing Abilities
  • Chemical Analysis Interpretation for Risk Assessment
  • Waste Classification (Haz Waste Online)
  • Production of Method Statements and Risk/COSHH Assessments
  • A Flexible and Collaborative Attitude to Solving Problems in a Non-Hierarchical Environment
  • Full Valid UK Driving Licence
