Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at Paul Mitchell Associates. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing supplier invoices, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and verify supplier invoices for accuracy and completeness
  • Manage and resolve invoice queries and discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Ensure timely payments to suppliers and maintain accurate financial records
  • Perform bank and statement reconciliations, and make necessary adjustments
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with the procurement department to resolve non-compliance issues and urgent payment requests
  • Audit financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance
Requirements:
  • Minimum two years of experience in high-volume purchase ledger
  • Excellent numeracy, literacy, and attention to detail
  • Confident and outgoing communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and pivot tables is an advantage
What We Offer:
  • Negotiable rate based on experience
  • 35 hours per week
  • Partial remote working available after a two-week introductory period
