Control Systems and Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems and Software Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge control systems and software solutions for a variety of aerospace, automotive, defence, and motorsport applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop control systems and software solutions using modern high-level programming languages, including Delphi.
  • Work with Beckhoff PLC software to build systems for leading corporations in the UK and USA.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to support existing projects and drive the development of new solutions.
  • Utilize your skills in servo motor and motion control to develop innovative solutions.
  • Interpret electrical drawings and documents to ensure accurate system design and implementation.
  • Develop strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills to resolve complex system issues.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including engineers, project managers, and clients.
  • Demonstrate potential to grow into a management position.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Knowledge of modern high-level programming languages, including Delphi.
  • Experience with Beckhoff PLC software.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate potential to grow into a management position.

We offer a competitive salary, 20% annual bonus, and relocation assistance to East Sussex. If you have experience in robotics, motion control projects, data acquisition, safety systems, or networking protocols, this position could be ideal for you. Minimum office hours are 10:00 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday inclusive, and 10:00 – 13:00 on Fridays. The company provides a profit share scheme, which for fiscal year 2024 is 20% on target performance. All respondents to this position must be eligible to live and work in the UK on a permanent basis. Automation Experts are unable to assist with the award of Visas or UK Work Permits.
