We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our dynamic team at Merco Medical Staffing Limited. As a Senior Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, you will lead and deliver specialist therapy services to individuals with acquired brain injuries (ABI) as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and prioritize a complex caseload of patients with ABI, ensuring effective care planning and delivery.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored therapy programs to address communication and swallowing disorders.
- Provide expert guidance on communication and swallowing disorders, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external professionals.
- Lead in planning, developing, and evaluating therapy services, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
About You:
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy, registered with HCPC.
- Dysphagia competencies achieved.
- Minimum 4 years' experience in complex case management, with a focus on ABI-related interventions.
- Specialist knowledge of ABI-related interventions, with a proven track record of delivering effective therapy services.
