**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Blue Octopus Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out general maintenance, repairs, and minor works in customer's homes in Barnstaple and surrounding areas.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Carry out a wide range of high-quality repairs to domestic dwellings, utilizing most craft trade skills, including diagnosing and rectifying faults.
* Accurately account for all materials used in carrying out works orders and maintain an adequate van stock to enable all normal minor repairs to be effected on one visit.
* Work collaboratively with the team to deliver excellent customer service and meet the company's repair obligations.

**Requirements:**

* Demonstrable experience in wet trades, drylining, and masonry.
* Additional experience of basic carpentry, wall tiling, patch plastering, and painting and decorating.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Basic DBS check required.
