Job Title: Head of Learning Support and SENCo

St Paul's Girls' School is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Learning Support and Inclusion Department. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting the welfare and educational needs of our students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

About the Role

The Head of Learning Support and SENCo will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to promote SEND student voices and develop staff confidence and skills in teaching SEND students.
  • Developing students' skills to access teaching and learning, and promoting the school community's awareness and understanding of SENDs.
  • Communicating effectively with parents and external specialists to support SEND students through key transitions.
  • Supporting the school's commitment to creating an accessible school environment.
