Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and imaginative Marketing Assistant to support our CRM Marketing Manager in executing a comprehensive multi-channel CRM strategy. This role presents an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to gain a solid foundation in digital marketing while expanding their skill set under the guidance of an experienced professional in a thriving e-commerce environment.

Role Responsibilities

  • Assist the CRM Marketing Manager and the broader Marketing Department in the briefing, creation, and production of both print and digital marketing materials.
  • Help coordinate the creation, testing, implementation, and scheduling of ongoing email marketing campaigns, ensuring that messaging aligns with brand standards and enhances the customer journey.
  • Develop proficiency in the content management system to optimize the online customer experience and maintain consistency across digital marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Services team and Operations Manager to ensure all transactional emails function correctly and uphold a high standard of customer service.
  • Contribute to the ideation and testing of new automated email marketing series based on customer behavior and data insights.
  • Manage the upkeep of marketing calendars and proactively share updates with relevant stakeholders to keep everyone informed of upcoming activities.
  • Work closely with the CRM Marketing Manager to provide basic analysis that informs more effective marketing strategies for both new and existing customers.
  • Gain a solid understanding of the company’s email service provider and support effective database management and growth.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices by monitoring competitor marketing efforts.
  • Act as a key liaison in the creation of briefs for print catalog production, ensuring effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform basic administrative tasks such as processing purchase orders, maintaining the marketing budget tracker, and drafting meeting agendas and minutes.
  • Embrace and promote the core values of the Sarah Raven brand, focusing on trust, collaboration, innovation, and customer-centricity.
  • Undertake additional duties as required.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a focus on performance metrics and KPI measurement.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships and contribute positively to team culture.
  • Basic understanding of key marketing principles, with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
