About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic strategy and policy lead to join our Housing Services team. As a principal policy adviser to the Director of Housing and management team, you will provide high-level advice to inform strategic decisions on the Council's goals, service delivery and cost-effective use of resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the Housing Strategy & Policy Change Programme is implemented linked to the Social Housing Act.
  • Work with senior management to shape and develop the Strategy & Policy offer.
  • Pivotal in the way the service delivers a challenging change programme.
  • Ensure residents are engaged and voices heard as part of the Strategy and Policy programme of work.
