About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Director of Soft Commodities Trading to join our team at Vallum Associates. As a key member of our trading division, you will be responsible for overseeing all soft commodity trading activities, growing existing trades and profit while identifying and engaging in new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all trading activity of the soft commodities business, growing existing trades and profit while identifying and engaging in new opportunities.
  • Effectively market make and liaise with the risk team to manage and ensure compliance with agreed-upon risk management criteria.
  • Stay up-to-date with rules and regulations of the trading markets and exchanges.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Head of/Director of Trading at a trading house or hedge fund.
  • Proven track record of strong and consistent profit and loss.
