About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Services Engineer to join our team at Boeing Defence UK. As a key member of our P8 Poseidon MRA1 CAMO Support Team, you will provide critical technical support to the P8 Mil CAMO, ensuring compliance with Military Aviation Authority Regulatory Publication (MRP) requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance to the P8 Lead CAMO Engineer and British Royal Air Force P8 Mil CAM.
  • Oversee deferred defect levels and manage outsourced defect management functions to ensure service levels and targets are met.
  • Support the fleet configuration, modification, and repair implementation strategy.
  • Support end-to-end repair processes.
  • Support the generation of SIs, RTIs, UTIs, and CAMO Technical Instructions.
  • Support the processing of unsatisfactory features reports.
  • Support the review and recommendation of TAA authorization deviation requests from approved technical information.
  • Support continuing airworthiness management requirements on a day-to-day basis, supporting relevant local Mil CAMO meetings.
  • Support the development and improvement of continuing airworthiness processes.
  • Support the development of Continuing Airworthiness Management metrics and appropriate dashboards to assist day-to-day management, performance monitoring, and drive continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Support MAA Audits.
  • Support the correct and proper use of the Safety Management System and Quality Management System.
Requirements
  • Technical knowledge and experience on the P8 and/or Boeing 737 aircraft type.
  • Understanding and application of UK Military Aviation Regulations (MRP Part M & Part 145) and UK MoD Airworthiness Policies.
  • Experience in the application of processes and culture in an aircraft Operations environment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively on the planning and execution of work.
Desirable Competencies
  • Previous UK Military Service CAMO experience.
  • Technical knowledge and experience on the P8 aircraft type.
  • Technical knowledge and experience on other Large airliner-type aircraft.
  • Familiarity with the use of GOLDesp and GOLD MRO as Maintenance Management Systems.
  • UK MoD Form 700 Series and ERCs (Engineering Record Cards) knowledge.
  • Able to support aircraft Occurrences Safety Investigations.
  • Knowledge of QMS (Quality Management Systems) including AS9100.
