Legal Secretary Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join our team at GH Resourcing Limited. As a key member of our legal team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our lawyers and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Document Preparation: Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.
  • Client Communication: Act as the main point of contact for clients, managing inquiries, appointments, and communications.
  • File Management: Organise and maintain client files both electronically and physically, ensuring documents are current and easily accessible.
  • Calendar Management: Manage calendars, schedule meetings, court dates, and appointments.
  • Financial Administration: Assist with client billing, invoice preparation, and fee tracking.
  • General Administration: Handle general office tasks such as answering phones, managing supplies, and coordinating with vendors.
Requirements:
  • Recent and relevant experience as a Legal Secretary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with legal software and case management systems.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
