Position Overview
We are seeking applications for a Clinical Fellow role in Neonatal Medicine at the ST 4+ level, designed to provide extensive experience in a tertiary medical neonatal environment.
This position offers a unique opportunity to engage in a comprehensive neonatal care setting, emphasizing both clinical practice and educational development.
Key Responsibilities
The Neonatal Unit is equipped with 16 intensive and high-dependency cots, serving as a pivotal tertiary medical facility within the regional network. Annually, the unit supports the care of approximately 5,500 newborns, offering a full spectrum of medical intensive care and accepting referrals for specialized neonatal neurology.
The postholder will participate in a full shift system, contributing to the delivery of high-quality care while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic clinical setting.
Qualifications & Requirements
Candidates must possess full registration with the GMC and demonstrate familiarity with UK healthcare systems. Previous experience in a similar role is essential, with a strong emphasis on both clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
