Role Purpose
The Senior Surveyor plays a crucial role in managing designated properties under the guidance of the Client or Regional Director. This position is responsible for the daily operations and reporting related to a property or client, encompassing all facets of service delivery, tenant communication, service charge oversight, and compliance management.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Building Consultancy Team to facilitate planned maintenance, develop Long Term Asset Replacement Plans, and ensure proactive management of properties while aligning service charge budgets with property strategies.
- Oversee compliance with statutory and internal regulations, coordinating audits and assessments, and ensuring alignment with MAPP policies, RICS standards, and ISO requirements.
- Authorize supplier payments and prepare funding requests for clients.
- Support client property acquisitions by conducting due diligence in accordance with legislative standards.
- Review and interpret lease agreements, ensuring tenant compliance with obligations related to maintenance and alterations.
- Lead a team that embodies MAPP's core values.
- Enhance tenant satisfaction through the implementation of Customer Experience frameworks and engagement initiatives.
- Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes for new or departing instructions, including TUPE processes.
- Ensure adherence to MAPP policies and procedures, maintaining compliance with all relevant standards.

Experience and CompensationExperience Level:
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- MRICS qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
Salary Range: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. MAPP is committed to making property management a positive force for society, focusing on creating value for both people and the environment.
