Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising the generation of engineering data related to Flight Systems to fulfill project specifications while adhering to established standards and procedures, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and schedule compliance.
  • Collaborating with various engineering and project teams to devise effective engineering solutions.
  • Planning, executing, and directing engineering tasks based on the project lifecycle phase, which may encompass requirements gathering, system and equipment design, modeling and analysis, system integration, qualification, certification, and testing.
  • Reviewing and endorsing specifications, reports, and proposals to ensure technical precision and fulfillment of task requirements.
  • Guiding the development of new systems by implementing best practices in systems lifecycle management.
  • Providing overall leadership and management to the team, including task management, performance oversight, staff development, cost management, and ensuring technical quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Essential:

  • A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant STEM field (Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Science).
  • Proven understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle with the capability to apply effective systems engineering methodologies.
  • Extensive experience in Mechanical, Electrical, or Fluid Systems Engineering, preferably within the aerospace sector.
  • Ability to leverage past experiences to provide guidance, support, and leadership to team members.
  • Competence in researching system design data and applying it to complex engineering challenges.
