About the Role

Fugro is seeking a highly skilled MRO & Equipment Sourcing Specialist to join our Procurement & Supply Chain Management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the strategy in the EU/AF region, setting priorities to manage spend and negotiate framework agreements that benefit the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand current MRO and equipment markets and trends to build a negotiation strategy.
  • Execute the sourcing strategy according to the sourcing process in place, analyzing cost structures and identifying opportunities for cost and risk optimization.
  • Ensure fluent coordination with the business during tendering and negotiation of contracts with suppliers, providing detailed information to stakeholders.
  • Analyze spend data to explore negotiation leverage and economies of scale, driving P&L value through key supplier negotiations.
  • Participate in the key focal group to drive P&L value, negotiating and contracting key suppliers in the region.
  • Conduct spend analysis, mapping key stakeholders (internal/external) and ensuring adherence to current procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience as a Purchaser, Contracting, Category Manager, or similar procurement or Supply Chain function.
  • Ideal experience in the MRO/Equipment industry, with commercial knowledge and experience handling and negotiating framework agreements.
  • Commercial insight, able to think from both customer and sales perspectives, negotiate preferred terms with suppliers, and weigh customer requirements against sourcing capacities and capabilities.
  • Excellent English and Dutch language skills, both written and oral.
