Fife Women's Aid is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care and Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our Women's Support Team, you will play a vital role in providing support to women who have experienced domestic abuse.

About the Role:

  • Provide one-to-one person-centred support to women who have experienced domestic abuse.
  • Work with women to identify and address their needs, promoting recovery and empowerment.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive support package is in place.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with women, their children, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of support plans, ensuring they are tailored to individual needs.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' experience of working in a support or advocacy role.
  • SVQ Level III or equivalent qualification in social care or a relevant subject.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for supporting recovery from domestic abuse.
